Good news: The University of Illinois Extension will be hosting Master Gardener Training in January 2016 for everyone that wants to learn more about working with plants.
Each class allows the students to tackle a different aspect of gardening, such as diseases or pests, and gives you a better understanding of how to deal with the wide array of problems that could arise in your garden. It is also a great way to connect with other people that are as passionate about botany as you are so that you can share ideas and techniques.
