It has recently come to my attention that the words “adult swim” refer to something other than the late night television channel that I loved to watch in middle school. Today, however, I have learned that the Urbana Park District is hosting an Adult Swim on August 6th from 8 – 10 PM.
This will be an opportunity for residents and non-residents alike to enjoy the fun of the Crystal Lake Aquatic Center without a ton of screaming kiddos running around.

Adult Swim Night on Aug 6, 8-10pm, Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center.
$4 resident/$5 nonresident
As adults we, we all want time to ourselves with NO CHILDREN around. The staff at CLPFAC is here to give you just that! Come swim with us. This relaxing evening atmosphere is the perfect time to enjoy all the amenities our facility has to offer.
While parents are at the Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center’s adult swim night, kids ages 3 – 12 are invited to attend a late-night play date from 8 – 10:30pm at the Anita Purves Nature Center. Staff will lead children in group games, crafts and activities. A snack will be provided. Children are encouraged to wear pajamas and to bring a sleeping bag or blanket and a pillow as they will have the option to snuggle up and nap/watch a movie toward the later portion of the evening. Space is limited! $3 per child.
