Singer and saxophonist Crofton Coleman, formerly of Church Booty, has announced that he will be putting out a solo EP this August. Entitled Love Affair 1984, Coleman says that this release is inspired by Marvin Gaye’s Midnight Love, and is intended as more of a simple pop song project than his previous work. Coleman will be featuring some of his new material, along with his jazz standards, at a show tonight. Catch him at the Iron Post at 8 p.m. Cover is typically $5.
