What a time to be a child in Champaign-Urbana. Today, the Urbana Park District has announced that construction will begin on their new Grove Nature Playscape on September 6th. That’s where you come in.
While the new playscape is 90% funded, UPD believes that a little extra may really put the playscape over the top, and as such, they have announced a fundraiser called the Nature Play Challenge on September 17th, as well as a wholistic fundraising goal to help them get over the hill.
In addition to the Nature Play Challenge, concerned parties can also donate online to the general campaign at this link. More info on the Nature Play Challenge can be found below, as well.
Help us bring all the features of the Friendship Grove Nature Playscape to life at this fundraiser and take home some nature play swag.
