Judiee is a Pygmalion MadeFest veteran who also happens to be a few other things:
- art educator
- creativity enthusiast
- author
- designer
- PechaKucha speaker
- Urbana Artist of the Corridor
- and a current Kickstarter
Her first book, Monet and the Waterlily Friends, was successfully kickstarted and is now on the shelf at both local libraries as well as available on amazon.
Her current book-in-progress is called Picasso Loves Shapes! and has just opened its fund-search earlier today on Kickstarter.
Both books seek to educate kids about famous artists while cultivating a love of art through activities. They both have whimsical illustrations as well as real examples of artworks, and they are both the kind of silly that people of any age can enjoy.
What I <3 about Judiee is that her love of art travels beyond the boundaries of her own ends and seeks to inspire others and enrich the lives of the children who will be tomorrow’s artists.
So feed a starving artist and help mold future minds all while shopping local. Head over to Judiee’s Kickstarter and check out some of those sweet, sweet, backer rewards.
