Per ChambanaMoms.com — Oberweis has purchased the building that used to be occupied by Atlanta Bread, and not only that, it will include an Oberweis ice cream joint, but also That Burger Joint. The location is 1905 S. Neil St. in Champaign — which has seen some serious growth over the course of the last 12-24 months with Harvest Market, Brixx, and other businesses occupying this portion of C-U.
Jim Oberweis is an alum of the University of Illinois — so this isn’t all that surprising.
