I received an anonymous email tip today (Screenshot attached at the bottom), showing some news about the impending opening of Portillo’s long-anticipated Champaign location.
Word on the street is that certain members of our community, members that are more important than me, will be given the opportunity to join Portillo’s for some unofficial meals over the course of the next month, meaning the restaurant will probably open its doors in May or June, if I had to wager a guess.
Who knows. If you’re lucky enough to have received one of these invites, congrats. Let the rest of us know how it is.
