At the very beginning of the month, we reported on Parkland College giving food trucks a try, with a trial run that lasted the first week of June. Apparently, having food trucks on campus was successful, because Parkland have just announced that they will be extending the program through July 31st, and have released a full schedule.

Food Trucks Summer Schedule at Parkland College
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Following a successful trial run, the Parkland College Food Truck series has been extended through the end of July.
Some of Champaign-Urbana’s favorite food trucks will be on campus Mondays through Thursdays, June 19 through July 31, from approximately 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. No trucks will be on campus July 4 or Fridays when the college is closed. The trucks will be parked in the service lane to the south of the Student Union. Enjoy an outside lunch on the patio picnic tables outside of the Union or eat with your fellow food truck aficionados in the cafeteria. Community members are welcome!
