The Women’s Resources Center has moved from their previous location on Wright Street, to a new location at 616 E. Green Street. To celebrate this new move, the center is hosting an open house Friday, June 30th.
Women’s Resources Center, established in 2009, represents and acknowledges people of all genders, across the campus and community. What they provide includes but is not limited to:
- Empowers women and strengthens alliances with men
- Offers opportunities for all students, including trans and gender non-conforming students, to participate in all programs
- Provides services, challenging sexism, racism, heterosexism, ableism and all forms of social oppression, and overall creates a stronger sense of community in C-U.
The open house will happen this Friday, from 3-5 pm at the new location on Green Street. Refreshments will be provided so be sure to RSVP here.
