Have any pressing questions or comments for Champaign‘s Mayor and Council? Well, this Saturday, Champaign Council Member Kyles and Mayor Feinen will be holding office hours from 10-11 am at Espresso Royale at The Crossing 2409 Village Green Pl, Champaign, IL 61822.
From the press release:
The purpose of the office hours is to provide Champaign citizens with an added opportunity to ask questions and provide input on any City issue outside of the setting of a more formal City Council Meeting.
“Council Member Kyles was enthusiastic about the event saying, “As an At-Large Council Member I work hard to get to know constituents throughout the City and to hear the issues that concern them as well as their goals for our community. The office hours provide a chance for people to talk to us one on one about any City related matter.”
Mayor Feinen added, “I enjoy having the chance to hear directly from people about the City. It is important to give citizens the chance to tell us what we can do better and to hear about the
things we are doing right.”Saturday’s office hours on October 7, 2017 will be open until 11:00 AM but both the Mayor and Council Member are willing to stay later if there are citizens waiting to be heard. The parties plan to hold additional office hours in the next few months at different locations throughout the City. Look for future announcements as to time and place of those meetings.
