Champaign-Urbana has seen an uptick in gun violence over the past couple months, with one incident occurring outside a Champaign Central/Danville basketball game. The Champaign PTA Council, an organization made up of PTA representatives from each Unit 4 School, is hosting a town hall on January 17th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Illinois Terminal to discuss gun violence in the community. Local school and community leaders will be a part of the panel discussion. All community members are encouraged to attend; you do not need to be PTA member or Unit 4 parent.
