Science and art blend in a new performance piece, “Quantum Voyages,” which will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4 in the Beckman Institute auditorium. Created by Smitha Vishveshwara, an associate professor of physics and member of Beckman’s Social and Emotional Dimensions of Well-being Group, and Latrelle Bright, a clinical assistant professor of theatre, the piece follows two voyagers who enter the microscopic realm of atomic landscapes and quantum conundrums to discover a magnificent and baffling world foreign to everyday human experience. All are welcome.
