PechaKucha Volume 28 is happening on Friday, October 5th. Event presenters have 20 slides at 20 seconds per slide to tell their stories, making each person’s presentation 6 minutes and 40 seconds, no more, no less.
The event was first created by two architects in Tokyo as a means to share creative art and design projects. Now happening in over 1,000 cities, the event has evolved into a night in which people “share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps — just about anything, really — in the PechaKucha 20×20 format.“
(This is how you pronounce PechaKucha.)
Volume 28 is happening as part of Urbana First Fridays, and will begin at 8:20 p.m. at Broadway Food Hall. Admission is free. Charlie Hester will serve as the emcee for the event, with presenters to be announced soon. PechaKucha C-U is organized by CUDO.
