July 27th will be the 3rd annual Archaeology Day at the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum. The event marks the anniversary of the opening of their Archaeology Field Station and Excavation Unit, designed by the UIUC Archaeology Student Society in 2016.
From 2 to 4 p.m. kids can examine artifacts, learn about ancient cultures, and do some ceramic reconstruction and jewelry making. The event is free for members, and just $5 for non-members. Want to find out about becoming a member? You can do that here.
