Krannert Art Museum has just announced its recent acquisition of three portfolios of work by groundbreaking photographer and University of Illinois alumnus Hal Fischer. The photographs, which document the gay community in San Francisco in the 1970s, will be shown as a part of a new contemporary art exhibition scheduled to open this fall.
