You probably think of the Moscow Mule as a summer drink, but I also like it in the colder weather. The ginger beer is warming and spicy, and even though those copper mugs are really cold, you can use your imagination to pretend they are warm. Or, you can wear little mittens as you sip your cocktail through a straw.
Champaign-Urbana likes a mule, too, as we discovered when we surveyed local bars and restaurants about which drinks were most popular. Barrelhouse 34 has a solid mule menu, so give it a visit soon to try one or reacquaint yourself.
