MTD launched the 280 tranSPORT bus to provide transportation to and from Illini Football and Volleyball games. Now they’ve added women’s home gymnastics meets to the service. It’s a summer olympics year, and the women’s team is currently ranked #6, so there’s potential for some crowds. Plus it’s a super fun sport to watch, and parking options near Huff Hall are limited.
The service begins tonight for the 7 p.m. Temple/Lindenwood meet. Here are the logistics:
The 280 tranSPORT Huff Hall service operates continuously between the Bielfeldt Athletics Administration Building and Huff Hall, picking up and dropping off passengers only at these two locations. Service begins 60 minutes before the meet’s start time and ends 60 minutes after the meet ends. There is no cash payment required for this trip.
And, the meet schedule:
Thursday, January 9th at 7 p.m.
Saturday, January 18th at 2 p.m.
Friday, February 7th at 7 p.m.
Friday, February 14th at 7 p.m.
Sunday, March 1st at 2 p.m.
