Eastern Illinois University will be hosting its annual Lions in Winter Literary Festival on Saturday, January 25th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival will be held in EIU’s Doudna Fine Arts Center (a one-hour drive from Urbana-Champaign) and will include readings in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction, as well as craft talks, an authors’ panel, a book fair, and more. This year’s featured writers include Joanne Diaz, Kelcey Parker Ervick, and Nick White.
Readings are free and open to the public. All craft talks require registration; you can sign up here.
