Jill Ellis, first head coach of the U of I women’s soccer team, will be offering her remarks at commencement on May 16th at Memorial Stadium.
She was head coach of the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team for five years, and in that time led the team to back to back world cups. She has the most wins in U.S. Soccer history, and retired with a record of 106-7-19. Now, she’s serves as an ambassador for the United States Soccer Federation.
