Featuring works by Angela Waarala, Chris Evans, Joe Bolton, Ibrahim Ouedraogo and others, Our Stories, Our Places, Our Resilient Selves is an exhibition of story mapping, photographs, video and artifacts amplifying the lived experiences of our neighbors who have “been through it” — homelessness, trauma, and involvement in the criminal justice system.”
This multimedia exhibition is a powerful example of how art can humanize some of the toughest and most misunderstood social justice issues. Art like this creates empathy and understanding.
