Champaign Outdoors is doing their part to reduce the number of shopping bags that are going out into the world. When you purchase items at the store and use your own bag, or choose not to take a bag, you’ll get a wooden nickel to put in a bin for the charity of your choice. At the end of the month, each wooden nickel will be a five cent donation to that charity.
Each month the charities will change. For March, your choices are Prairie Rivers Network or Land Conservation Foundation. If you would like your organization to be considered, you can fill out a form on the Champaign Outdoors website.
