Members of the Champaign-Urbana community and beyond gathered today for this peaceful protest in response to the murder of George Floyd and countless others. The protest kicked off at the Champaign County Courthouse where it made a lap in the vicinity of Downtown Urbana, stopping eventually at the City of Urbana building. After that, and making several stops at stoplights and intersections down Elm and Green Street through Campustown, the march ended up near Downtown Champaign at the Champaign Police Department at First and University in Champaign.
