Astronomy on Tap has gone virtual, and this month they are digging into to two topics with two grad students in the Department of Astronomy that are quite relevant for the time. From their event page:
Cassidy Wagner will discuss the phenomenon of science denial and its impacts on society, while Cail Daley will explore the ways in which Afrofuturist musicians have engaged with, and imagined, outer space and interstellar travel in their art.
The livestream will be on YouTube this Thursday, July 23rd, at 6 p.m. You’ll have to dig up your own favorite beverage to enjoy while you learn.
