This year’s Ebertfest was canceled, as most events have been in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When that announcement took place, Roger Ebert’s Film Festival was rescheduled for April 14-17, 2021. Now, the event will take place September 8-11, 2021 instead, as per the report today via U of I News Bureau. There’s a lot of uncertainty between now and next spring, so they are going to take a bit more precaution and punt to next fall.
Festival passes for 2021’s event will go on sale January 4th.
