Humanities Research Institute has invited Crisitina Ibarra and Alex Rivera, directors of the film The Infiltrators, to participate in a virtual discussion and Q & A. From the film description:
The Infiltrators is a docu-thriller that tells the true story of young immigrants who are detained by Border Patrol and thrown into a for-profit detention center — on purpose.
The discussion, happening October 15th at 7 p.m., is free and open to the public. Registration is required. You are invited to view the film on your own time before the event; you can find out how to do that here.
