Eliot Graham wins the CobraVenture Pitch Showcase

The latest cohort of student entrepreneuers in Parkland’s Entrepreneurial Founders Program offered up their pitches to a panel of judges on November 16th. Eliot Graham, a student in Horitculture and Landscape Design from Champaign, was named 2020 Student Entrepreneuer of the Year and will receive $3000 to help fund his business, The Wood Violet LLC. Graham plans to “bring the power of plants and plant-products to small-space areas, such as apartments and condos. His pitch centered on the reality that the home is transforming in the age of the pandemic, ‘serving as both residences, office spaces, classrooms, and staycation destinations.'”

Graham hopes to have his business up and running by Spring 2022. He’s also plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
