The Bike Project of Urbana-Champaign and U of I Campus Bike Center are partnering for a kid’s bike giveaway on December 19th. The giveaway is happening between 1 and 3 p.m. (or until bikes are gone) at the Urbana Bike Project, located at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center on 202 S. Broadway in Urbana.
It’s one bike per kid, and they must be present to select it. Safety protocols will be followed.
They are currently taking donations of kid and teen bikes. If you have a bike to donate, call (217) 469-5126 or email contact@thebikeproject.org to arrange a drop off.
