COVID-19, Vaccinations, and Your Health is the first in a series of free Zoom info sessions to help you understand the importance of getting a vaccine, specifically in the Black community.

This session is moderated by Charles Burton of the Don Moyer Boys and Girl’s Club, and panelists are Dr. Angela Bell, a UIUC grad and pediatrician in the Washington DC Area; Dr. Elias Woldegabrial, an Infectious Disease physician with Carle who is board certified in both infectious disease and infectious disease; and Derrius Carter, MPH, a CUPHD team member in COVID-19 investigation and prevention.

The goal is to bring factual information to the community and educate people about various issues that might make them reticent to take the vaccine. Our goal is to provide credible medical and scientific education so that people can make their vaccine decisions based on sound information and not misguided or false theories.
