Each pick up zone in the City of Champaign will have two opportunities to have their spring yard waste hauled away.
- All residences in the Orange Zone should put materials out by 6 a.m. on Monday, April 12, and Monday, May 10, 2021.
- All residences in the Blue Zone should put materials out by 6 a.m. on Monday, April 19, and Monday, May 17, 2021.
The usual rules apply here. Make sure you use those paper lawn bags, and they can only hold grass clippings, leaves, and other plant materials. Twigs and branches cannot be larger than 2 inches in diameter and 3½ feet long. They can be bundled with non-metallic twine, but bundles cannot be larger than 18 inches in diameter.
