Illinois Reboot is “a FREE coding pre-academy that exposes participants to technical skill fundamentals and provides coaching and mentoring from local tech professionals.” The program was created by University of Illinois Research Park with the goal of developing a more inclusive tech workforce.
The program is nine weeks in duration, and provides instruction in variety of coding languages and programs, as well as career counseling.
Individuals that are underrepresented in the tech field are encouraged to apply. The next cohort will begin in June, and applications are due by May 23rd. The sessions will be over Zoom, and take place in the evenings.
