This was a weekend full of photography for us here at Smile Politely between this event and C-U Pride Fest. Although we did not have any writing contributors over at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts’ opening night, we had our cameras out and ready to go. We captured some photos of what looks like a buzzing Krannert Center, which featured La Excelencia, an 11-piece salsa outfit from the Bronx, Samba Soul, and DJ Fede to provide the musical entertainment for the evening.
