The Shadowboxer Collective comes up with another great show. Daredevil Christopher Wright have made it through town several times in the past year, which means you really should get out to this if you haven’t seen them yet. Psych-pop duo Netherfriends and locals You and Yourn and the Palace Flophouse open. Plus, you get to not be on campus for Unofficial.

Tea Leaf Green are steadily working their way up the jam circuit–something you don’t do by being a bad live band. Locals-turned-Chicagoans Zmick kick things off.

3/26 – Mhondoro @ Iron Post – Mhondoro might be the best live band in C-U right now. If you’re able to go to this show and not be moved to dance, I’ll give you ten bucks. Seriously.
4/9 – Common Loon, Early Day Miners @ Cowboy Monkey – No official word on this yet, but you can bet money that this is Common Loon’s record release show.
4/23 – Local H, Kinch @ Canopy Club – Here’s the cool part: Local H are having a fan choose a record at each show, and then the band will play it in full.
4/30 – Daytrotter Tour w/Ra Ra Riot, Delta Spirit, Nathaniel Rateliff @ Kalyx Center (Monicello) – Ra Ra Riot shredded Krannert’s sublimely-lit lobby at Pygmalion last year, so it’ll be interesting to see what they do when put in a barn. For bonus points, Delta Spirit were the single most-buzzed about band at Bonnaroo last year, which apparently is a big deal or something.
