Probably one of the most unprententious band from C-U, the Palace Flophouse has a little bit of the Sea & Cake, a little bit of Lou Barlow and a whole lot of catchy back and forth vocals. Most songs on their most recent release, Try Not to Get Worried, are self-containted narratives on love, lonliness and travel. You can get the album for free on their myspace page.

I’m pretty new to the band Wolfie, but right now they are pretty much the best reason I can think of for putting my headphones on. They do more with a minute and a half of music than most bands can hope to do with four.

Saag Paneer with whole wheat Naan, from the Bombay Indian Grill on Green Street. It’s even better if you kick things off with a Samosa.

My favorite album of all time is There’s Nothing Wrong with Love by Built To Spill, with Pavement’s Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain being a very close second.
