EDITOR’S PICK: KENDRICK LAMAR
State Farm Center ($42–$30) — Wednesday, November 6th at 7 p.m.
In what is considered one of the best hip-hop albums to be released in recent memory, Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.D. city is a year old, but still very much holding up. Lamar has been on another planet as far as rap superstardom goes since the release and critical acclaim last October, and for good reason. This should be one of the bigger hip-hop shows to come through to State Farm Center (still getting used to calling it that), but should be worthwhile if you can grab tickets.
