The Champaign-based instrumental rock band Acker has been on a bit of a haitus recently, but not for lack of reason. They’ve been working on their new album, Sea Songs, for the past several months. To cap off Record Store Day this past Saturday, they played their release show at Mike N Molly’s. Joined by local acts Marathon, Big TV, and ZXO (who performed as a full band for the first time) it was a night of incredibly talented musicians and intriguing artistic directions.
