This is a special SameSexSunday from the Democracy For America‘s Netroots Nation conference in Las Vegas, the largest Progressive blogger and online organizer conference in America, and we took advantage of the availability of outstanding leaders and thinkers gathered here at the Rio hotel.
[F]or the first time in the history of SameSexSunday we assembled our panels in person, rather than over Skype, and the conversations were fierce and fruitful. Beautiful Boxer is based on the real life story of Parinya Charoenphol, a Muaythai boxer who underwent a sex change operation to become a woman. The movie chronicles her life from a young boy who likes to wear lipstick and flowers to her sensational career as kickboxer, and finally her confrontation with her own sexuality.
